Why thousands of new residents are moving to Orlando every year?

Florida will continue to growth for years to come, and our beautiful city of Orlando is one of the fastest growing areas in the state. In fact, the city has been named one of the Best American Cities to Live, according to the 2019 Top 100 Best Places to Live in the Livability.com list. Our city ranked No. 17 in that list, in which they examined more than 1,000 cities measuring aspects such as economics, housing, amenities, education and infrastructure, among other criteria.
We are proud to live and work here for more than two decades and to see how our area is developing year after year. Almost 1,000 people move here per week, making us one of the fastest growing regions in the country and that has been for decades. But not only that. According to the Orlando Economic Partnership’s 2030 Report, the latest projections show that 1,500 people a week will continue to move to Central Florida, the region that includes Orange, Osceola and Seminole among other counties.
We can give you an extensive list of reasons for that. But in the top we need to include the world-renowned attractions that we have, such as the most popular theme parks in the world, as Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld. We are consider the Theme Capital of the World, the No. 1 family vacation destination and the most visited destination in the United States.
But we are so much more than our internationally famous theme parks. Orlando and the state of Florida in general, has pleasant weather most of the year and residents of all ages always enjoy recreational activities in the outdoors. Our strategic location in Central Florida allow us to have many places to visit if we want to enjoy all that Florida has to offer: beautiful beaches, wonderful natural parks and world class attractions as Daytona Speedway are just a short drive away.
